Your book of Chittara arrives with care. We’ll ship via trusted carriers and keep you updated every step of the way.
1. Order Processing

Once you place your order on the Deevara Chittara website, we aim to process it within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).

You will receive an order confirmation email once your order is placed, and a shipping confirmation email once it is dispatched.

If any item is out of stock or delayed, we will notify you promptly with an estimated dispatch date.
2. Shipping Destinations

Standard shipping within India will normally be carried out via reputable courier services.

4. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout, based on destination and weight of the package.

Any customs duties, import taxes, or other charges for international orders (if applicable) are the responsibility of the recipient.
5. Shipment Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipment tracking number (if provided by the courier).

You can use the tracking number on the courier’s website/app to monitor the status of your delivery.

If you do not receive tracking information within 2 business days of dispatch, please contact us.
6. Delivery Issues & Responsibilities

Please ensure the shipping address you provide is accurate and complete (including PIN/ZIP code, state, phone number).

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, non-collection, or refusal by the recipient, any additional shipping cost to resend the package will be borne by the customer.

If the courier attempts delivery and the recipient is unavailable, the courier may leave a delivery attempt notification or hold the package at a local facility. It is the recipient’s responsibility to coordinate re-delivery or collection.

7. Packaging

We take care to pack our books/products securely so that they arrive in good condition. Protective packaging (bubble wrap, cardboard, etc.) will be used as required.

If you receive your item and find it damaged or defective, please follow our Returns & Refund policy and send us photos of the damage within 72 hours of delivery.
8. Special & Bulk Orders

9. Change of Address

If you need to change the delivery address after placing the order, please contact us immediately. We will attempt to update it, but we cannot guarantee changes once the package has been dispatched.
